Dana Healy

Dana Healy is senior Lecturer in Vietnamese studies at SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies) University of London. She specializes in modern Vietnamese cultural studies, including literature, film, religion and gender. The main focus of her research into modern Vietnamese literature is on Vietnamese literature of the renovation period, the relationship between gender and modernity in contemporary Vietnamese literature and cinema, and on the themes of memory, ideology and the representation of war and conflict.
